I have known since I was a little girl that I wanted to be involved with the beatuy industry. I started at the age of 13, working here at Scissors III for my three aunts in the family business. I have learned so much over the years from watching them, including the importance of professionalism, technique, relationship building and customer service.
I received my cosmetology school training from Albany Vo-Tech, and have been a licensed hairstylist for 12 years now, all of which has been with Scissors III. I have continued my education by taking several Goldwell color and cutting classes, and I am certified in Keratin Complex Smoothing Therapy by Copola and permanent full head "Hair Treats" hair extensions.
Over the past year, Fashion Extensions have become very popular. It started with Bling Strands and quickly moved to feathers. Though I continue to offer Bling Strands, these feathers have become a booming trend and I have become certified through Featherlocks to use these great products. I love any extra glamour that you can give to the hair in addition to a gorgeous and an edgy cut.
Over the length of my career, I have felt blessed to absolutely love what I do. I have been able to start some great friendships with my clients, who have brought me more clients in the form of friends, spouses and their children. I appreciate all of this, and I look forward to serving all of you for years to come, as well as new clients.
